Barceló Torre de Madrid Hotel
Parachilna
Located in the iconic Plaza de España, the 5-star Barceló Torre de Madrid is one of the city’s most distinctive hotels. Once the tallest concrete building in the world, this landmark has been transformed into a benchmark destination for modern hospitality, offering 258 elegantly designed rooms, a ground-floor bar, fine dining restaurants, wellness facilities, and panoramic access to Madrid’s most celebrated landmarks.
The interiors were conceived by renowned Spanish designer Jaime Hayon, whose playful sophistication is felt throughout the hotel. As part of the design, Parachilna created custom hanging lamps inspired by vintage scuba diving helmets. Each shade is crafted from hand-moulded Italian ceramic with a gold finish, combining craftsmanship, whimsy, and luxury in equal measure.
These bespoke luminaires embody Parachilna’s philosophy of emotional, long-lasting design, while perfectly complementing Hayon’s bold, contemporary vision for Torre de Madrid—an emblem of Spanish design excellence and hospitality.
