Fabricate

Boohoo has built its presence through Instagram, leveraging influencers, celebrities, and bloggers to showcase its brand. In collaboration with Youth, Fabricate manufactured and installed the immersive “Instagram Moments” lighting elements.

Inspired by Instagram’s iconic filters, the installation allows visitors at Boohoo’s central London site to step into the experience themselves. Guests can photograph their Boohoo apparel under dynamic, real-world light filters—transforming content creation into a live marketing opportunity for the brand.

At the heart of the experience is a custom-programmed control panel, designed to put creative control in the hands of every visitor. Each engraved button activates a curated light scene, from globally inspired city presets—Paris, Tokyo, Los Angeles, New York—to mood-driven settings such as Fresh, Glow Up, Mood, and Icon. Just like scrolling through filters on Instagram, guests can switch between lighting styles with a single press, but this time, the filters exist in real life.

The panel connects seamlessly with the RGBW Lightbox and Light Line Round, powered by DMX integration and custom scene sets. The result is a playful, interactive installation that turns social media styling into a tangible brand experience—giving Boohoo visitors the chance to create their own moment in the spotlight.
